Along with rapamycin, I apply lotion with the active ingredient clobetasol propionate to the beard area a few days a week. I saw a significant decrease in white beard density. Similarly, has anyone benefited from using steroid lotion on their beard area? As it is known, steroid lotions have a scientific place in the treatment of vitiligo. Vitiligo and white beards occur from a similar mechanism, that is, melanocyte disorder. And I noticed that before the white beard grows, there is a partial shedding in the area where the black beard grows, the skin color lightens, and then white beard starts to grow in this area. It’s an interesting situation, but I think graying starts this way in most people. and since applying intermittent steroid lotion I have seen a reduction in whites.
